Mister Marvin Middle Class is really in a stew Wond'rin' what the younger generation's coming to And the taste of his martini doesn't please his bitter tongue Blame it on the Rolling Stones.
Blame it on the Stones; blame it on the Stones You'll feel so much better, knowing you don't stand alone Join the accusation; save the bleeding nation Get it off your shoulders; blame it on the Stones
Mother tells the ladies at the bridge club every day Of the rising price of tranquilizers she must pay And she wonders why the children never seem to stay at home Blame it on the Rolling Stones.
Blame it on the Stones; Blame it on the Stones You'll feel so much better, knowing you don't stand alone Join the accusation; save the bleeding nation Get it off your shoulders; blame it on the Stones
Father's at the office, nightly working all the time Trying to make the secretary change her little mind And it bothers him to read about so many broken homes Blame it on those Rolling Stones.
Blame it on the Stones; Blame it on the Stones You'll feel so much better knowing you don't stand alone Join the accusation; same the bleeding nation Get it off your shoulders; blame it on the Stones
Blame it on the Stones, blame it on the Stones.

Here, sitting in my room, with The Replacements and Husker Du, like a rebel without a clue and the Beatles and the Stones get to hang out with Ramones and the Pistols shunning fame, as they sing the old refrain as they always will again, like 29 x the pain
I see Starz, and the moon is Big and Black, well there's a full Sheer Heart Attack a-but the cheapest trick of all is when I hear that London call I need something and I need it fast, I need Jason Scorching past I need to feel they feel the same, 'cos when they almost know my name it's like 29 x the pain
times the pain 29 x the pain, times the rain 29 x the pain, times the pain times the pain, but it all ends up the same (thanks [Pink/Pete/??])
kiss my heart, like The Damned did from the start c'mon make me feel like me, S.L.F. or B.O.C. give me old, give me new, lend me all you're feeling too 'cos the sounds that twist and curl, it's a brave new world
I'm up, I could not get down, well I get all my friends around and I can be there once again, I'm gonna miss Kurt Cobain just like 29 x the pain
times the pain 29 x the pain, times the pain 29 x the pain, times the pain times the pain (and all the gaps and all the pain) times the pain (tomorrow always cries my name) times the pain - it makes it all worthwhile again

Shaking your fist, yeah Do you feel like a man? Got a rock in your pocket Got the girl by the hand
Flick the bird to the world, yeah 'Cause the world is your plan Don't stand still for no one Don't take it, take it, take it
All my life, I never learned My bridge is raised, yeah, yeah, my bridges burn And all my dreams seem faded away, yeah My bridge is raised, yeah, yeah, my bridges burn
Hang your head 'till tomorrow Look to the stars for your muse Yeah, the world's better mellow Yeah, you're judged by your shoes
Yeah, your mouth is so dirty Since you were a kid Rise up like a flame Don't take it, take it, take it, take it
All my life, I never learned My bridge is raised, yeah, yeah, my bridges burn And all my dreams seem faded away, yeah My bridge is raised, yeah, well, my bridges burn
Don't be a zero, be a hero A sex pistol, guitar hero Don't be a zero, you gotta be a hero A sex pistol, guitar hero
All my life, I never learned My bridge is raised, my bridges burn And all my dreams seem faded away, yeah My bridge is raised, well, my bridges burn, yeah
Be a hero, oh A sex pistol, oh An alert atomic bomb, yeah!

Jajaja buenas nochea Alex!! que tengas dulces sueños:
The Damned rinden tributo a Michael Jackson en esa obra maestra de la que nunca nadie habla llamada ``Grave Disorder´´:
Michael used to tell us he was bad, bad, bad And all his funky records made us glad, glad, glad But when I saw his face, yeah, I was sad, sad, sad Wuith his only friend a chimp you know it's mad, mad, mad Neverland, Neverland
Even when he's telling you that black is white Just some fancy dancing you can stop a fight Grooving in the forest makes it al alright What a man, a big hand Nevcerland, Neverland
The cola king could sit and count the cost, cost, cost Thinking about the childhood that he lost, lost, lost You know he couldn't even give a toss, toss, toss At least he marginally better than the boss, boss, boss Neverland, Neverland
Even when he's telling you that black is white Just some fancy dancing you can stop a fight Grooving in the forest makes it al alright What a man, give him a hand Did you love his kingships daughter? Did you cherish her and take her by the hand? The papers say that it was all a put up show, But I don't know, I don't know Neverland, Neverland
Even when he's telling you that black is white Just some fancy dancing you can stop a fight Grooving in the forest makes it al alright What a man, give him a hand Neverland, Neverland
If he was from Venus, would he feed us with a spoon? If he was from Mars, wouldn't that be cool? Standing right on campus, would he stamp us in a file? Hangin' down in Memphis all the while.
(chorus:)
Children by the million sing for Alex Chilton when he comes 'round They sing "I'm in love. What's that song? I'm in love with that song."
Cerebral rape and pillage in a village of his choice. Invisible man who can sing in a visible voice. Feeling like a hundred bucks, exchanging good lucks face to face. Checkin' his stash by the trash at St. Mark's place.
(chorus)
I never travel far, without a little Big Star
Runnin' 'round the house, Mickey Mouse and the Tarot cards. Falling asleep with a flop pop video on. If he was from Venus, would he meet us on the moon? If he died in Memphis, then that'd be cool, babe.
