El proximo disco en solitario de Scott Weiland se llamara Blaster y parece q va a ser un disco de Indie Garage   

In a new interview with San Diego’s FM 94/9, Scott Weiland revealed that the title of his third solo album is Blaster. He said they began writing the album at his cabin in Washington last year, and that as the writing process went on he decided that his band needed to be a four piece, so that there could be more space in the music. Weiland said it was tough to let Doug Grean go, as he had been his longtime friend and they’d built a studio together.
Weiland said, “I had to call him up and tell him that we made a big decision, and I’m sorry to tell you, but we’re going to go on as a four piece.”
He claimed that the new album will have a more garage indie rock vibe.

Se le ve bastante machacado fisicamente aunq se expresa mejor q en otras ocasiones (hay veces q es una tortura escucharle hablar y no acabar las frases o tener la sensacion de q se esta durmiendo mientras habla)

Scott acaba de hacer unas declaraciones bastante chocantes. Esta dispuesto a volver con Velvet Revolver xa conciertos esporadicos y solo en festivales por una cuestion economica. Scott anda bastante mal de pasta y es q imagino q finiquitar en pocos años con 2 bandas de exito como STP y Velvet Revolver debe tener sus consecuencias. Scott se ha dado cuenta del enorme error q ha cometido. La situacion de Scott no es muy buena. Lo ultimo q ha publicado ya tiene bastantes años (el disco homonimo de STP) y lleva ya tiempo sin publicar nada. Actualmente esta actuando en salas xa 200 personas   y los tiempos en los q habia mucha y era cabeza de cartel en festivales o tocaba para grandes audiencias ha quedado muy atras. Scott sabe q lo tenia todo y la cago con ambas bandas. Ahora esta solo y esta tocando xa audiencias minimas. La gente q ha tenido tanta pasta se acostumbra a unos niveles de vida a los q luego es muy dificil renunciar (grandes casas, coches de alta gama, divorcios, hijos, pensiones alimenticias enormes......).

Dejemos q Scott hable y q nos digas q quiere volver a dar conciertos con Velvet Revolver pq necesita la pasta

Former Stone Temple Pilots/Velvet Revolver frontman Scott Weiland recently discussed Velvet Revolver with LaPresse, revealing that he’d like to reunite with the band for the money:
“But Velvet Revolver, there is no problem. I even called the guys to propose the idea of doing some shows together in a few months. We are on good terms, but I do not want to be a member of Velvet Revolver full time. If possible, I would like to only play at festivals. You know, to make easy money…” he summarizes, adding that other former members of the group are either busy or they do not need as much money as he does.

Sorprendentemente el tema está bien, mucho mejor que VR. LA verdad es que con S Weiland tengo sentimientos contradictorios: por un lado es un buen cantante, ha grabado buenos discos con STP y el tio es todo un rockstar a la vieja usanza, pero por otro dificilmente podria ser mas irritante.

Joey Castillo (QOTSA) se une a la banda de Scott Weiland. La verdad es q el bueno de Castillo (uno de mos bateria favoritos) lleva una temporada dando tumbos de banda en banda (lo ultimo fue con la banda de Glenn Hughes)



Former Queens of the Stone Age drummer Joey Castillo is joining Scott Weiland & The Wildabouts on their upcoming tour to replace Danny Thompson, who recently left the band for the second time.
