After more than a year of speculation,
Mark Lanegan has officially announced details regarding his upcoming anthology set, “
Has God Seen My Shadow? An Anthology 1989-2011.” The anthology set will be released on January 14, 2014 by Light in
The Attic Records.
According to
UNCUT Magazine, the set will include twenty notable tracks from
Lanegan’s lengthy solo career as well as twelve previously unreleased tracks. It will be released on two formats: a 2-disc CD format including a 44-page booklet with handwritten lyrics and rare photos, and a 3-LP format including box set case and a 20-page booklet.
The tracklist, which was discovered by
AlternativeNation.net in July, includes songs ranging from
Lanegan’s 1990 album
The Winding Sheet to
Lanegan’s recent more studio effort, 2012′s
Blues Funeral. The tracklist for “
